The names in the lists of system names are those that already have known coordinates. Thus:
- Target system: Enter/type a name that does NOT appear in the list.
Keep typing until the list disappears.
- Reference System 1-5: Pick a name from the list.
If possibly try to pick systems that are spread around the target system, ie. not all in one direction.
This improves accuracy.
- Distances from the target system should be entered with 2 decimal places.
It's important to use the Galaxy Map to optain distances, as the distances in the Nav Panel are not always correct for some reason.
The names in the lists of system names are of all registered starnames, whether coordinates are known or not.
In advanced mode you can enter whatever you like, either picked from a list or not.
This is good for entering bits of data that might not necessarily be enough to determine new coordinates,
but will be used in the future after additional submissions make it possible to do so.
In advanced mode you probably want to turn off cr checking, so you get all names, and not just those confirmed 5 times.
With the given data the coordinates of the target system can not be determined with certainty
Please try to replace one or more systems (one is often enough).
